Scott Kramer is entering his second season as a member of the Community Colleges of Spokane athletic department. He serves as the head men’s golf coach, athletic marketing/fundraising/sponsorship manager, and instructor.
In Coach Kramer’s first year as head coach, the Sasquatch won the Eastern Region Championship, won the Bigfoot Invitational, finished third the Treasure Valley Invitational, Olympic College Invitational, Columbia Basin Invitational, and The Southwestern Oregon Invitational, and finished fourth in the NWAACC Championships.
Previous to working at CCS, Coach Kramer was a middle school language arts teacher in the Spokane Public School District and an assistant men’s basketball coach at Whitworth University. He played golf for the Sasquatch during the 2000-01 and 2001-02 seasons and was a member of the 2002 NWAACC Championship Team and was the Team Captain. He continued his playing career at Whitworth University and was the Team Captain of the 2005 conference championship team while earning his degree in education. Coach Kramer is currently working on him master’s degree in Organizational Leadership at Grand Canyon University. He is married to his wife Dani.
Coach Kramer brings a passion for success and a love for competition to the CCS golf program. His extensive playing background at the college level is an asset to the players. His goal is to have the Sasquatch contending for the conference championship year in and year out, while preparing players to move on to the four year school level to continue their education and play golf.
