Coach’s comments: A real competitor. Chantel works so hard and has just improved her game several notches. When she first arrived last year she threw a 58 mph fast ball. Now she is throwing 61-62 mph and has learned to throw a screwball. She should be a candidate for First Team All-Conference if she matches last year’s performance on the mound and her team rises up and plays solid defense behind her. She will help any four-year school that needs experience and leadership at the pitching position.
