CCS Selects Lee Head Baseball Coach

Community Colleges of Spokane Athletics Department has selected Bobby Lee as its head baseball coach, according to Ken Burrus, CCS district athletics director.  Lee replaces Dave Keller, who after 12 seasons had the most wins in CCS baseball history.

Lee also serves as the district’s assistant athletic director.  He played collegiate baseball at Eastern Washington University and Washington State University.  His coaching experience includes stints at CCS, WSU and Azusa Pacific as an assistant coach.  Lee also was head baseball coach at the University of Laverne.

“Community Colleges of Spokane is very fortunate to have an experienced coach of Bobby Lee’s caliber ready to step in and take over the program.  He will be a great asset to our student athletes,” said Burrus.

The Sasquatch finished the 2008 season with an overall record of 18-22.
