Spokane struggled offensively in both games of a double header in Pendleton, Oregon. Spokane lost the first game 3-1. Blue Mountain scored two runs in the first inning. Starter Martin Aguirre went the distance allowing three runs on five hits. Aguirre had four strikeouts in the game. Spokane scored one run on seven hits. Spokane had the bases loaded in the seventh inning but failed to score a run. Sophomores Kelly Gau and Ian Atkinson led the way at the plate with two hits apiece.

Blue Mountain took the second game 4-3 in ten innings. Starter Mike Richard went eight innings allowing three runs on two hits. Spokane scored runs in the sixth, seventh and eighth innings to tie the score but couldn’t hang on in extra innings. Spokane committed four costly errors in the game. Spokane struggled at the plate managing just five hits in the game.
