Spokane Sweeps CBC to End Homestand

Spokane ended a four game home stand with a sweep of the Hawks from Columbia Basin. CCS took the first game 6-3. Starter Martin Aguirre threw seven shutout innings for the Sasquatch to earn his fourth win of the season. Justin Murphy worked out of a jam and finished the game in the ninth to earn his first save of the season. At the plate Spokane was led by Jake Graham with three hits. Ian Atkinson added an RBI double in the seventh inning.
Spokane won the second game 6-5. Starter Mike Richard allowed three runs in his seven innings of work to earn his fourth win of the season. Cam Christian struck out two in the ninth to earn his first save of the season. Spokane scored their six runs on seven hits. Cam Christian, Jake Graham and Derek Carley all had two hits in the game.
Spokane travels to Treasure Valley to play a double header on Saturday afternoon. Game time is set for noon. Spokane will return home on Wednesday the 22nd to face Wenatchee Valley.
