Spokane Bats Silent in Double Header Loss
The CCS baseball team was swept in a double header by Treasure Valley on Monday afternoon. Spokane lost the first game 1-0 on a solo homerun by Treasure Valley’s Derek Howerton. Starter Cam Christian went seven strong innings but took the loss for Spokane. Spokane managed just five hits in the game led by Mike Bartlett and Ian Atkinson with two apiece.
Spokane dropped the second game 5-3. Colby Crawford started the game and went six innings allowing two earned runs while walking just one batter. Spokane was again silent at the plate with just six hits. Cam Christian and Kelly Gau each had two hits in the game for the Sasquatch.
