2008-09 Season Preview

The 2008-09 Community Colleges of Spokane’s women’s golf team is made-up of a balance of freshmen and sophomores.  Ky Lee Schmunk, Chelsea Kenner, Kelsey Harting and Katie Sorenson return from the 2007-08 season.

The freshman include: Katie Nelson and Brooke Schroeder (Battle Ground HS), Alyssa Osterback (Mt. Spokane HS), Darby Moberg (Freeman HS), and Alyssa Presgraves (Royal HS).  Four of the five freshman played at the state tournament their senior year of high school.

Coach Dalsanders commented, “We look to be solid from top to bottom.  I look forward to the leadership of the sophomores and the talent of the incoming freshman.”  The first tournament of the season is the Choker Invitational in Ocean Shores on September 28th and 29th.
